BUT i will tell you anyways..... There is nothing like being in the presence of the Lord, with your husband, your 7 year old daughter, mom, great friends, and thousands of other people who love the Lord....
You know the songs, you have sung them over and over in the car, in your home and at church, yet there is something about being in a stadium, so loud you cant hear a thing, just the bass and the drums pumping through your whole body, there is no greater feeling! You find your self singing at the top of your lungs, because everyone else is doing the same thing.. and your hands are raised so high, because you just cant help it, and you dont care who is around you and what they think, because you have just entered into a place of worship, a heart of worship, a place that even though the music is soooo loud, you cant hear the person next to you, you can search your heart and find the quiet, where you can hear the whisper of the Lord in your heart!! and just when you think everyone in the room left and it was just you and God worhiping the whole time, you open your eyes and hear the voices of thousand of people singing to the one they Love.. Its a beautiful thing!
I was so excited to have malia go with us! because she loves hillsong! However when your bed time is 8:00 every night, and it doesnt start till 8, its hard to stay up! at least for my kids, now you would think one might not be able to sleep in such a loud place but not my child.. after the 3rd song she looked at me and said, this music is making me soo sleepy!! hahah!! she missed all her favorite songs, but ohhhh well, better luck next time baby!!
